「ROOTS」展

中目黒アート・ミュージックカフェバーepulor(エプロア)にて「ROOTS」展を開催します。スペシャルティコーヒーやソムリエセレクトのワインを飲みながら、アナログレコードから流れる音楽と共にご鑑賞ください。


気がつけば私の周りは、日々「創造」で満ちている。
色とりどりの羽、自由かつある規則を持った葉脈、樹の幹
可愛い丸いおでことピンとした背中で踊る少女
きらきらとした目で新しい命の誕生を待ちわびる友
存在そのものの美しさを噛み締め、失ってゆくことの恐怖や切なさも感じている。
その全てに『喜び』を以って感謝したい。

Everyday I am surrounded by boundless creativity.
Feathers of many colours,
The free yet carefully directed veins of leaves, the trunks of trees
A girl dancing with her back straight and cute round forehead
A friend, awaiting new life with twinkling eyes.
Tasting the very beauty of existence, I also feel the fear and
helplessness of loss and letting go.
Only now I realize none of these things, nothing, is to be taken for granted.
Facing reality with "joy", without fear of change, I wish to give thanks.


⚫プロフィール
RINA-Taytu/リナ・タイトゥ
東京出身。
東京デザイナー学院コンピューターグラフィックス科卒業。
2001年よりイラストレーター/グラフィックデザイナーとしてアパレル会社やデザイン会社に勤務。現在はSOHOとして活動。3児の母。

イラストではエチオピア民族。ブラックカルチャーに影響を受ける。
レゲエ、ソウル、などのアーティストのCDジャケットや、ポスター、フライヤー、タペストリーなどを手掛けている。
作品の殆どを色鉛筆で描く。

グラフィックでは、国内、外のアパレルブランドメーカーの版下製作を主体とし、
ROLLING STONES,NYヤンキースとLALAPLANのコラボウェアーのデザインを担当。
若年層を中心に数々のブランドにデザインを供給している。
その他、カフェやショップのアートディレクションを担当。

RINA-Taytu
Born inTokyo Japan.
Graduate of Computer Graphics at Tokyo Designer Gakuin College.
From 2001, based in Tokyo, works graphic designer and illustrator.
Mother of three.

Illustration
Inspired by Ethiopia and Afro-American culture.
Attracted to the raw and unrefined, Rina has created illustrations for
CD cover jackets, posters, flyers and tapestries, mainly for reggae and soul artists.

Method
Illustrations usually drawn with colour pencils.

Graphic design
Has worked nationally and internationally for apparel brands,
including creating layouts, logo design, textile design, as well as
being in charge of desining a wear of
collaboration of ROLLING STONES , NY YANKEES and LALAPLAN.
Rina has been creating designs mainly for young people's fashion brands, as well as taking the role of art director for shops and cafes.

アーティスト、セラピスト 。
主に沖縄の自然のマテリアルから生み出すネイチャーオーナメント。
ダブルツリーヒルトンやANAコンチネンタルラウンジなどのオブジェ制作等、空間表現を行う。

「roots」私たちの根底にあるなにか。
.沖縄では"神様の依り代（よりしろ）"とされる神聖なクバの木。
木を傷つけぬ様、新芽が出た時に自ら枯らして行く、木としては役目を終えた部分を頂いてオブジェのような額に。
絵を見た時に、そっと沿えたくなったクバ。彼女の根底にある、神聖な何かをそこに加えたくなって出来た額。
.沖縄という地で巡り会わせていただいた事に感謝を込めて。
